WebGeneral Information The Agilent Technologies 34136A High Voltage Probe is an accessory to be used with analog or digital multimeters having an input resistance of 10 M W ( ±1%). WebTV HV probes usually use a 50 microamp meter movement, not 1 mA. The HVP-5 uses an 800Meg resistor, and this probe was made in 1982. This model is for use up to 40 KV, or 200 mA for the Cathode current of the Horizontal output tube. A 1 mA load would be too much for most TV HV supplies.
